Frequently Asked Questions
A quick guide to how our custom EVA boat flooring process works, what to expect, and how to care for your deck after installation.
1. What is marine-grade EVA foam flooring?
Marine-grade EVA foam is a soft, durable, non-slip material designed specifically for life on the water. It adds comfort underfoot, improves traction, and gives your boat a clean, custom look.
2. Does weather or temperature affect installation?
Yes. Weather plays a big role in the installation process. We can’t measure or install in the rain, and we prefer warmer temperatures to help the adhesive bond properly. If conditions aren’t ideal, we may adjust scheduling to make sure you get the best result.
3. Do you offer custom designs and logos?
Absolutely. Every project we do is custom. From color combinations and patterns to boat names, logos, rulers, and other design details, we’ll work with you to create something that fits your boat and your style.
4. Do you offer pre-made kits?
No. We specialize in fully custom flooring. Every boat is measured individually to ensure the best fit, finish, and overall appearance.
5. How do I get started or request a quote?
Getting started is easy. Just reach out through our website and send us your boat’s make, model, year, location, photos of the areas you’d like covered, and any design ideas you have. From there, we’ll walk you through the next steps.
6. Do you offer installation?
Yes. Most of our projects include installation. This allows us to make sure everything fits properly and meets our quality standards. If you’re looking for something different, feel free to contact us and we’ll discuss your options.
7. Do you ship products?
We can ship smaller products and custom items. Full flooring projects are typically handled with installation so we can guarantee the best fit and finish.
8. How long does a custom project take?
Every project is different. Timing depends on the size of the boat, design details, scheduling, and the time of year. Once we review your project, we’ll be able to give you a more accurate timeline.
9. Is EVA foam flooring durable? Does it stain?
Yes. Marine-grade EVA foam is designed for harsh marine environments and holds up very well with normal use. Because it’s a closed-cell material, it doesn’t easily absorb liquids. Most dirt, fish blood, sunscreen, and everyday messes can be cleaned without leaving permanent stains when handled promptly.
10. How do I clean and maintain the flooring?
Maintenance is simple. Most of the time, soap, water, and a soft brush are all you need. For tougher messes, a pressure washer can also be used when needed.
11. Do you work on boats only?
Boats are our primary focus, but we’re always happy to hear about other custom projects. Feel free to reach out and let us know what you have in mind.
12. Do I need to bring my boat to you?
No. We come to your boat for measuring and installation. Whether your boat is at a marina, storage yard, or private dock, we’ll coordinate with you to make the process as easy as possible.
